Director - Dr Zain Abbas Syed

Hi there! - I'm Zain, the Director of Derwent Homes. I moved into property development following a successful and rewarding 6 years working as a resident doctor in the NHS. Although I still work part-time as a Registrar in General Internal Medicine, I spend most of my week in property development. I have a passion for finding solutions for our vendors including difficult-to-sell properties. If I wasn't a doctor I would have probably been an architect as I have a passion for structures and their interior design and implement this into any property I develop, giving my projects a unique edge when they hit the resale market. I'm an honest, empathetic and excellent communicator. I pride myself in giving my customers, contractors and investors an A-star journey.

As Community & Partnerships Lead for Progressive Property Network in Harrow & Watford, I attract investors and property specialists to our monthly networking events in Stanmore, NW London. We have direct and exclusive access to specialist mortgage and bridging finance brokers, as well as high net worth investors and developers. We also attract tradespeople and other like-minded property specialists and utilise this network to exchange knowledge, skills, property deals and investment.
